An inquiry in Pakistan has found that a young man shot his friend dead for allegedly biting into his girlfriend’s burger.

It is thought that Daniyal Nazeer, the suspect, attacked his friend during a fight that broke out at the accused’s Karachi home. Daniyal Nazeer is the son of retired Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nazir Ahmed Mirbahar.

The investigation into what happened on February 8 came to the conclusion on Wednesday that Ali Keerio, a sessions judge’s son, was probably shot with a guard’s rifle after he boldly dared to bite into a big piece of Nazeer’s girlfriend’s burger.

It was stated that the defendant had placed an order for two “zinger burgers” for himself and Shazia, his partner, prior to Nazeer being enraged over his friend’s transgression.

According to the the local press, Keerio was shot and had “severe injuries.” While being transported to the medical facility, he passed away from his wounds.

Investigators came to the conclusion that the police officer’s son had probably gotten upset over the hamburger incident after a more than two-month investigation.

‘Daniyal got into a serious fight with Ali over why he ate half of the burger without permission which was ordered for his girlfriend Shazia,’ the investigating officer confirmed, as reported by The Week.
