A middle-aged man has sparked uproar on social media after a video of him romantically proposing to his girlfriend in a hotel amidst the company of her friends surfaced on social media.

A social media user going by the handle @adaohapapannkwu shared a beautiful proposal from her true love on the video-sharing app TikTok.

Together with his girlfriend’s pals, who accompanied him in a hotel room waiting for the future bride, the man had organized the surprise proposal.

The woman became emotional as the man got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage as soon as she arrived.
