Controversial Ghanaian evangelist and former traditional priestess, Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, has made a shocking confession about her spiritual journey — revealing that before her time in prison, she could preach passionately but struggled to quote Bible scriptures accurately.

Speaking candidly during a church gathering, the outspoken founder of Heaven Way Champion International Ministry disclosed that her stint behind bars became a major turning point in her Christian life and ministry.

According to Agradaa, although she had already embraced Christianity and was actively preaching to congregants, she lacked deep biblical knowledge and often found it difficult to reference scriptures directly from the Bible.

“Before I went to prison, I could preach but I wasn’t able to quote Bible verses,” she admitted.

The self-styled evangelist explained that prison unexpectedly became a place of transformation, discipline, and spiritual growth for her. She noted that while incarcerated, she dedicated significant time to studying the Bible intensely, which helped her understand scriptures better and strengthened her confidence in ministry.

Agradaa further stated that her prison experience reshaped her mindset completely and drew her closer to God in ways she never imagined.

Her revelation has since sparked massive reactions on social media, with many Ghanaians debating whether her transformation is genuine or merely another controversial chapter in her public life.

Some supporters praised her honesty and growth, arguing that people can truly change through difficult experiences. Others, however, remained skeptical, questioning the authenticity of her repentance and ministry.

The former fetish priestess has remained one of Ghana’s most talked-about religious figures since converting from traditional worship practices to Christianity. Her dramatic lifestyle, fiery sermons, and frequent controversies continue to keep her in the headlines.

Despite criticism from sections of the public and religious community, Agradaa insists she is now fully committed to spreading the gospel and using her past experiences as a testimony to inspire others.
