From Tragedy to Triumph: How Philipa Baafi Earned First Class Honors After Returning to School at 40.

Philipa Baafi, the Gospel artist, has conveyed her appreciation to God for guiding her through her educational path with few obstacles.

She shared that her parents passed away before she reached Senior High School, making life more complicated for her.

Despite the difficulties, she remained focused on her studies.Due to her circumstances, she was unable to continue her education after SHS.


However, after earning income from her music career, she pursued a medical course in Physician Assistant studies at the tertiary level.

Despite being over 40 years old, she graduated with first-class honors.
Her husband, Dr. Kwame Karikari, explained that she took a break from music to further her education and enhance her qualifications to stay relevant in the industry.


After four years of study, Philipa has made a comeback to music with new songs. Known for hits like ‘Go Higher’ and ‘I Go Dance’, Philipa Baafi is a respected figure in the music scene.
