I nearly lost my mother following her Chew-A-Thon attempt—Ogidi Brown Sadly recalls

During a recent interview on Zionfelix’s Uncut Show, Ghanaian musician and artist manager Ogidi Brown talked about a terrifying experience that almost cost his mother her life.

Asked what happened to his mom, he revealed that the underlying cause of his mother’s sudden health crisis on the day was attributed to low blood sugar levels.

He claimed to have found himself in a terrifying situation on January 5, 2024, a few days before his mother’s hilarious chew-a-thon, when she unexpectedly became very sick. He was left by himself with his mother.

Speaking of the terrifying experience, Ogidi Brown related how his younger brother reached them in time to help their mother, whom they adore and refer to as Artists Maame, receive first aid.

Together with his mother, he also thanked the Italian healthcare system for their promptness and efficiency in getting them to the hospital.

When it came to giving her the necessary care and attention during her time of need, Ogidi Brown praised the hospital staff for their professionalism and commitment.
