Tiwa Savage, the renowned Nigerian singer and actress, recently opened up about her journey navigating the fallout from a leaked private video.

In a candid interview with Angie Martins of Power 105.1 in New York, Tiwa Savage revealed the distress she faced when the private video with a former partner was leaked in October 2021.

As a mother, her main concern was the potential impact on her son, Jamil.

Taking swift action, Tiwa Savage enlisted the help of an IT specialist to remove the video from the internet and devices. She expressed relief that the video is no longer accessible, ensuring her son’s innocence is protected.

Despite some reactions suggesting the video is still circulating, Tiwa Savage remains focused on her upcoming debut Nollywood movie, “Water & Garri,” set to premiere on May 10, 2024.
