Prophet Ogyaba has performed a ritual to shave the dreadlocks of a young boy who was born with them, aiming to prevent him from being possessed by spirits.

The boy’s parents took him to the church out of concern that he might be under spiritual influence.

According to the mother, the boy was born at Mary-Lucy Hospital in Awoshie, Accra, already circumcised and with dreadlocks.

Before administering deliverance, Prophet Ogyaba clarified that the boy was innocent but had been born under the influence of spirits.

He stated that these spirits intended for the boy to become the new Komfo Anokye, a revered spiritual figure, but he vowed to prevent this from happening in the modern era.

Additionally, Prophet Ogyaba discussed with the boy’s father, who confirmed facing numerous challenges since the child’s birth, including unemployment and failed business ventures despite being a graduate.

The prophet proceeded to pray and shave the boy’s dreadlocks in an attempt to free him from the influence of the supposed spirits.
