Man cries as Girlfriend gifts him a book on his Birthday after he Spent over N100K on hers

A man found himself boiling over when his girlfriend presented him with a book on his birthday, especially after he had splurged over N100K to commemorate hers.

In a tale recounted by @Hauwa_L, who shared the incident online, the man, identified as her friend, vented his frustration over the phone.

It seems the girlfriend’s gift, a book aimed at enhancing productivity, only fueled his fury as he deemed it too meager, especially considering the lavish celebration he had bestowed upon her during her own birthday.

According to the narrator, the book was chosen because of the man’s habit of rising late, typically at 10 am.

His outrage intensified, fueled by the stark contrast between his grand gesture and what he perceived as a paltry offering.

“My friend just called me annoyed as fuck. He said he spent over 100k on a babe’s birthday and on his birthday, she gave him a book titled ‘How To Be Productive’.

Seeing as he is still in bed at 10, I asked him if he has read the book. He cut the call, @Hauwa_L wrote.
