Former Member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, has called on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to project a stronger and more united voice if it hopes to return to power in the 2028 general elections.
According to Tetteh, the party must rebuild public confidence, strengthen its messaging, and reconnect with Ghanaians after its defeat in the 2024 polls.
“THE NPP MUST SPEAK WITH ONE VOICE”
Sylvester Tetteh stressed that internal cohesion and disciplined communication will be crucial to the party’s political revival.
He argued that a united front would help the NPP effectively articulate its vision, defend its record, and present itself as a credible alternative to the governing administration.
REBUILDING TRUST WITH GHANAIANS
The former legislator noted that reclaiming power will require more than internal reorganisation, insisting that the party must actively engage citizens and address concerns raised by voters.
He urged party leaders and members to focus on policies that resonate with the electorate while avoiding internal divisions that could undermine the NPP’s prospects.
2028 CAMPAIGN BEGINS NOW
With the next general election still some time away, Tetteh believes the groundwork for victory must begin immediately through grassroots mobilisation, effective communication, and renewed commitment from party members.
He maintained that sustained engagement with supporters and the broader public will be essential in rebuilding momentum ahead of 2028.
A CALL FOR UNITY AND RENEWAL
As discussions over the NPP’s future leadership and direction continue, Sylvester Tetteh’s message is clear: the party must strengthen its voice, close its ranks, and reconnect with Ghanaians if it wants to mount a successful comeback in the next general election.
