Rt. Rev. Dr. Hilliard Dela Dogbe Commends NPP Flagbearer’s Character and Leadership
The Presiding Prelate of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Zion Church, Rt. Rev. Dr. Hilliard K. Dela Dogbe, has showered praise on Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as a leader marked by humility, integrity, and faithfulness.
Speaking during a consultative meeting between the leadership of the Christian Council of Ghana and a delegation of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bishop Dogbe encouraged Dr. Bawumia to remain steadfast in his leadership journey and stay true to the principles that have defined his public life.
According to the respected church leader, success in leadership requires focus, consistency, and surrounding oneself with the right people. He urged the NPP flagbearer not to be distracted by challenges or external pressures but to remain committed to his message and convictions.
“If you ask what I think of Dr. Bawumia, I will say it again and again, he is a man of great humility,” Bishop Dogbe reportedly remarked, while also highlighting the former Vice President’s respectful conduct and approach to public engagement.
The meeting, held on June 11, focused on national development, unity, and collaboration between political and religious institutions. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of peace, inclusivity, and constructive dialogue in Ghana’s democratic journey.
Bishop Dogbe further advised Dr. Bawumia to remain faithful to the values that have guided his leadership, expressing confidence that consistency and integrity would continue to serve him well in his political aspirations.
