Accra, Ghana – Ghanaian music star KiDi has moved to shut down rumours suggesting that there is a disagreement or strained relationship between him and fellow musician Kuami Eugene.
The “Touch It” hitmaker addressed the speculation, urging people to disregard claims of tension between the two artistes and describing the rumours as unnecessary.
KiDi’s response comes after social media discussions raised questions about the state of their relationship, with some fans speculating that the two Lynx Entertainment stars were no longer close.
Using the popular Ghanaian phrase “Di wo fie asem”, which means “mind your own business,” KiDi appeared to brush aside the rumours while making it clear that there was no issue to address.
The two artistes have enjoyed a long-standing professional relationship and have often been associated with the success of Ghana’s contemporary highlife and Afrobeats movement.
Fans have since welcomed KiDi’s response, with many encouraging the public to focus on the artistes’ music rather than unverified claims about their personal relationships.
The clarification is expected to put to rest speculation surrounding the pair as both musicians continue to focus on their individual careers and musical projects.
