The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has successfully completed its constituency elections in 245 constituencies, while the outcomes in 31 constituencies remain under dispute.
The party says the elections were largely peaceful and form part of its internal democratic process to elect constituency executives and strengthen its grassroots structures ahead of future political activities.

However, disagreements over the conduct and results of the polls have emerged in 31 constituencies, prompting the party to initiate mechanisms to resolve the disputes through its established internal procedures.
Party officials have urged members to remain calm and allow the appropriate committees to address all grievances fairly and transparently, emphasizing the need to preserve unity within the party.
The constituency elections are regarded as a key step in the NPP’s organizational restructuring, with the elected executives expected to play a crucial role in mobilizing support and coordinating party activities at the local level.

Attention now turns to the resolution of the disputed constituencies as the party works to complete the electoral process and maintain cohesion among its members.
