The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has issued a strong call to its members to extend support and assistance to communities affected by devastating floods, urging churches and individuals to respond with compassion during this difficult period.
The Council appealed to its members across the country to provide relief to victims who have been displaced or left struggling as a result of the flooding situation.
According to the GPCC, the Church has a responsibility to stand with vulnerable people in times of crisis by offering practical support, including donations, care, and other forms of assistance to help affected families recover.
The Council encouraged congregations to work closely with local communities and relevant authorities to identify urgent needs and provide meaningful interventions.
The call comes amid growing concerns over the impact of floods on households, livelihoods, and infrastructure, with many victims requiring immediate support.
The GPCC emphasized that collective action and generosity are crucial in helping flood victims rebuild their lives and regain hope after the disaster.
