Yul Edochie, an outspoken Nollywood actor, has stated that friendships formed in real life might not always translate to those formed online.
He continued by saying that although he immediately blocks users whose posts do not reflect his values, it is acceptable for them to block him in return.
The article, which emphasized the value of blocking people who hurt one’s mental health, was posted on his social media page. The movie star admitted that blocking people is sweet.
Following the post, another creditor, Uche Ogbodo, acknowledged the significance of blocking those who are unworthy of friendship. She said:
“I love it too! We can be best friends real life but we no follow each other online. That one dey too.
The actor continued and said that one of the cutest things about blocking people is that you stop remembering they even exist. Yul said:
“Blocking dey sweet oo. We can be friends in real life, doesn’t mean we must be friends on social media. Once your posts no dey align with my spirit, I block you immediately. Block me too, don’t waste time. And the sweet thing about blocking, once you block someone you won’t remember that person exists anymore. I love it. Block someone today. Thank me later.”
