Nigerian actor Yul Edochie, well-known for his roles in the film industry, recently embarked on a spiritual journey by launching his online ministry, True Salvation Ministry.
The actor conducted an inaugural church service on his YouTube channel, where he shared the profound story of his divine calling.
Yul recounted a near-death experience, surviving a miraculous escape from a car accident, which he believes was a divine intervention.
Convinced of God’s purpose for his life, the actor embraced the calling to become a pastor, marking the beginning of his spiritual journey.
Despite initially envisioning a physical church with a large congregation, Yul revealed that divine guidance led him to start humbly and use the resources at his disposal.
Reflecting on the journey, Yul disclosed, “As far back as 2012, 2013, I’d meet a couple of men of God, pastors, and they would always tell me that you are destined to be a minister of God, you can’t run away from it, you are going to be a minister.” He shared how he started hearing the calling himself, especially when alone in enclosed spaces.
During the virtual gathering held on Sunday, January 29, 2024, the actor, also a movie producer and director, preached about the importance of self-love and the avoidance of hatred.
Yul emphasized his commitment to speaking the truth, even if it proved difficult, asserting, “Only God knows why he chose me.”
