The Public Relations Officer of the Aggrieved Nation Building Corps (NABCO) personnel, Frimpong Manso, has expressed deep disappointment and frustration with the Akuffo-Addo-Bawumia government.

He accuses the government of exploiting the NABCO program for political gain during the 2020 elections, only to abandon its participants afterwards.

Manso alleges that the government promised to transition the program into permanent public sector jobs, which motivated them to vote for the NPP in 2020.

However, despite their efforts to support the government’s re-election, they have been neglected and owed payments totaling GH¢418 million.

Tragically, some personnel have lost their lives due to malnutrition and petty diseases exacerbated by the delayed payments.

Manso feels betrayed by the government’s silence on the matter, citing the Vice President’s failure to mention NABCO as an achievement during his regional tours.
