Agya Koo, a veteran comedian and Kumawood actor, recently made headlines for his intriguing message to vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also a candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer position.

In an interview with One Ghana TV, Agya Koo discussed the varied contributions made by the party’ s five aspirants and the reasons why he thinks some of them might not be qualified to fly the party’ s flag.

In her opening remarks, Agya Koo praised Vice President Bawumia for his substantial achievements and the effort he had put forth on behalf of the NPP.

He did, however, make it plain that some candidates in a contest perform better than others. He was adamant in his assertion that Kennedy Agyapong would be the ideal candidate to serve as the party’ s flagbearer.
