Woman Inherits Her Family Farm And Finds A Human Skull Behind The Barn

Kwabena Sowee 2 months ago 0

After inheriting her family farm and finding an unsettling discovery on the land, a woman has been left dumbfounded.

However, the family tale to which it was ultimately connected was even more bizarre and gruesome.

It seemed the human skull she discovered beneath her barn was a piece of an odd family mystery.

You cannot just bury your adored aunt in the midst of your suburban cul-de-sac or anywhere else; in fact, a few other states do demand the involvement of a funeral director.

Moreover, many have zoning rules that are applicable to burials or demand some sort of licensing.

It was her great-grandfather’s skull. When he passed away, her grandfather simply dumped him in the forest as a test.

Please, for the sake of empathy, just take a moment to put yourself in this woman’s position and hear your grandfather telling you that he tossed his deceased father into the woods and watched him decay for FIFTY YEARS, as if that were the most natural thing that had ever occurred to him.

Anyway, the woman was so perplexed that she wrote to the long-running advice column Dear Abby because she needed “a second opinion” on what went down when her grandfather recently sold her “an old farmstead that has been in the family for 200 years.”

I don’t even know what “an old farmstead” is, but it sounds actively sinister and thrilling. “Last week, he showed me a wooded area behind the barn with a human skull.”

I am registering this screenplay idea with the WGA right now and WILL take legal action if anyone tries to stop me from making this blockbuster. See you in court, farmstead lady!

The skull was her great-grandfather’s. Her grandpa just threw him in the woods when he died as an experiment.

Yes, you read that correctly, and none of it is a typo. “He told me that when his father died more than 50 years ago, he was curious about how long it would take a body to decompose, so he left his body in the woods to keep track of its progress,” she went on to write. “He has 50 years of photos and notes.”
