Just a few days ago after it was announced that a 70- year- old Work Party (LP) tribal leader was decapitated in Uturu, Umunneochi Nearby Government Area of Abia Express, a 65- year- the elderly person has been recently butchered to death in Umumba, Nsirimo, in Umuahia South Neighborhood Government Region by a group of unknown cultists.

The man recognized as Mr. Chigbu Chigozie also known as ” D Bone” was said to have been found dead in his compound on Thursday night with many blade cuts.

The deceased man’ s unknown aggressors were said to have raged his compound in the dead of the night on a bike.

It was assembled that the devious demonstration was gained when somebody who came to bring water from the compound saw the body and raised the caution which pulled in different individuals from the local area.

Affirming the occurrence, the Abia State Police Order Advertising Official (PPRO), Maureen Chinaka, in an explanation revealed that the body of the departed had been kept in the mortuary.

” Toward the beginning of September 21, 2023, at roughly 8 a. m. , the Ubakala Police Division in Abia State got an upsetting occurrence report. It was accounted for that the body of an individual was found in one of Mr. Chigbu’ s compounds. The departed was subsequently recognized as Mr. Chigbu Chigozie, a 65- year- old occupant of Umumba, Nsirimo, Ubakala, Umuahia South LGA. He was found lying in a pool of blood with various blade wounds to his head. Sadly, Mr. Chigbu was affirmed dead. “
