Cindy Amadi, a rising star in Nollywood who appeared in the well- liked Nigerian film ” Ife, ” has unfortunately passed away.
In a message on her Facebook page, human rights and LGBT campaigner Pamela Adie also confirmed the sad news of her departure.
” We are greatly, deeply, and unbelievably saddened to learn about the passing of Cindy Amadi, who played Adaora in #ìféthemovie.

Many people’ s lives were permanently altered by Cindy’ s magic on our set. She was tremendously motivated to improve her art, advance her profession, and continue to share her talent. Until her tragic death, she was making progress.
The suffering and sorrow that her family is currently through is beyond our ability to even begin to understand. We wish her family all the comfort they require at this difficult time and send our sincere condolences on behalf of the whole cast and crew.
