VIDEO: Yaa Pono Angrily Slams Kennedy Agyapong For Using His Song For Campaign Without His Permission.

Ghanaian musician Yaa Pono expressed his disappointment and frustration today, October 1, 2023, after learning that his popular song “Obiaa Wo Ne Master” featuring Stonebwoy was used without his consent in the political campaign of Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central and aspiring flag bearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The song, which has a line that mentions the name of the outspoken politician, was played when Kennedy Agyapong mounted the campaign platform after his successful walk exercise in Kumasi, which was aptly named ‘Kennedy For President.’

Taking to Twitter, Yaa Pono vented his concerns, tweeting, “Why my song being used for campaign without my notice, @honkenagy this not kul.”

This tweet clearly indicates Yaa Pono‘s displeasure at the unauthorized use of his music for political purposes, especially without his prior communication or consent.
