The tragic incident is said to have occurred at the Oninku Drive School Park near the TMA Daycare facility, where eyewitnesses say the aircraft suddenly lost control while flying overhead before plunging to the ground.

According to early reports, the helicopter burst into flames moments after impact, sending thick smoke into the air and drawing crowds of shocked residents who rushed to the scene.

Emergency responders from the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Police Service quickly arrived to battle the flames and secure the crash site. Firefighters managed to contain the fire before retrieving the bodies of two occupants from the wreckage.

Initial information suggests the aircraft was a microlight helicopter traveling toward Accra when it crashed. Authorities say no injuries were recorded among residents or students in the area, despite the crash occurring close to a populated neighborhood and a school facility.
