Governor of Delta State appoints Harrysong as aide

The singer Harrysong has been appointed executive assistant on entertainment by Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The singer playfully requested to be addressed as “honorable” and thanked the governor for entrusting him with the position. He also told the people of the state to anticipate a festival in March.

In 2010, Harrysong became well-known following the release of his two hit singles, “Taiye & Kehinde” and “I Am in Love.” He has received several awards and accolades for his craft.

The singer started as a music director in the church but later released his tribute song to Nelson Mandela in 2012.

With his combination of dancehall and Afropop, he is one of Nigeria’s most well-known vocalists.
