    Ghanaian singer Gyakie has announced December 12, 2026, as the date for the return of her headline concert, Gyakie Live, scheduled to take place at Ghud Park, Accra Mall.

    The show will mark the singer’s return to her signature live concert experience after a two-year hiatus, giving fans an opportunity to enjoy her catalogue of songs in a live setting.

    Gyakie confirmed the date and venue during media interviews in October, describing the concert as an opportunity to reconnect with her audience and appreciate their continued support during her break from live performances. 

    New music behind the comeback

    The announcement comes after a period during which the singer focused on recording new material and developing her musical direction.

    According to 3News, Gyakie has spent months working on her anticipated project, Midnight, and is looking forward to introducing fans to some of her latest creative work at the December concert.

    She has also discussed her songwriting process, explaining that she often begins with an instrumental beat before developing the story and direction of a song. While some compositions take several days to complete, she recalled one recording session in which she finished a song in just 30 minutes after inspiration came quickly. 

    Reconnecting with fans

    Gyakie has said her motivation to continue making music is strongly connected to the people who listen to and enjoy her work. She also emphasised her love for entertainment and performing for audiences.

    Her previous major headline concert, Party Live with Gyakie, was held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on December 16, 2022, coinciding with her birthday.

    The December 12 event is expected to give fans an opportunity to experience Gyakie’s music while catching an early glimpse of the direction she is taking with her new material.

    Details on ticket prices, supporting artistes and other event arrangements are yet to be fully announced.
