The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong has called on stakeholders to identify areas where their abilities can support government in the delivery of quality education in the country.
This, he indicated will compliment the efforts of government in addressing challenges facing the second cycle institutions across the country.

“It is my hope that as the government is putting in much efforts to arrest the situation, other stakeholders will also identify other areas where they have the ability to support and collaborate with government in tackling SDG 4 or making education very sustainable in the country”, he added.
The Eastern Regional Minister made the call during the 23rd Anniversary Celebration and 2nd Speech and Prize Giving Day of the Seventh Day Adventist Senior High School at Asokore in the New Juaben North Municipality of the Eastern Region.

Even though some second cycle institutions are still faced with inadequate teaching and learning materials coupled with high enrolment rate and overcrowding, Mr. Acheampong disclosed that the government has awarded several GETFUND projects to expand domirtories, classroom blocks in several schools including financial clearance to procure teaching and learning materials to improve learning in the schools.
