Reggae/dancehall artist Ras Kuuku will present his yearly Puomfest concert for the second time this Saturday at Dome Park, a suburb of Accra.
Fans of the Puom Empire will be enthralled and entertained by a variety of well-known and up-and-coming artists who will perform at the event. There will also be performances by Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Yaa Pono, Iwan, Tinny, Fameye, and Kelvyn Boy.
In an interview, the former Reggae/Dancehall artist of the year said,
“Puomfest has arrived, and we are stepping it up this year. What to expect is indicated by the lineup of performers. I created Puomfest as a way to express my gratitude to the Dome fans who have supported my art throughout the years. It is my baby.
“On Saturday, my fans should expect a powerful live band session from me and the other artists and I want Ghanaians to come there in their numbers. There will be no dull moment at the concert,” he said.
When Ras Kuuku released a string of hit songs, including Wo featuring Kofi Kinnata, he altered the perception of dancehall and reggae in the nation.
