Police arrested a woman for hiring assassins to k!ll her husband for GH¢3,800 debt

The Nigerian police have apprehended a woman who is accused of hiring assassins to kill her husband due to a debt of Gh¢3,800 (N400,000). The incident took place in the Rafin Guza community within the Kaduna metropolis, as reported by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama.

The woman’s husband had reportedly borrowed N400,000 from her to invest in a business. However, when he asked for the money back, she refused to return it. Frustrated by her refusal, the woman allegedly decided to take drastic measures by enlisting the help of a gang led by a man known as Tola to eliminate her husband. The motive behind the plot was to silence her husband and put an end to his demands for repayment.

This shocking case of attempted murder has raised concerns within the community and shed light on the lengths some individuals are willing to go to in order to settle financial disputes.
