Wendy Shay, who originally trained as a midwife before pursuing a career in music, claimed that she is earning a lot of money from music and that her desire to accomplish greater things motivates her to do more. Wendy Shay is a nurse by profession.

She claimed that “there is so much money in music” in an interview with 3FM in Accra.

In an interview with 3FM in Accra, she stated “The music industry is quite lucrative…

I couldn’t have done it without the money I currently make from simply my streams alone.”

“And I want to accomplish huge things…The things I want to do in my life, like one day create a hospital and orphanages, I have to make music to achieve it,” she continued.
