Olu Jacobs Death rumours: Family drops emotional video to address the public

Contrary to rumors circulating on social media, renowned Nigerian actor, Olu Jacobs, is alive and in good health.

His family released a video of him getting a haircut to dispel the rumors and confirm his well-being.

The false reports of Jacobs’ death had spread quickly on social media, prompting an outpouring of tributes and condolences from fans and colleagues.

However, the family’s swift release of the video has brought relief and joy to many, celebrating the actor’s continued life and legacy.

This is not the first time that Jacobs’ death has been falsely reported. In June 2020 and August 2022, similar rumors surfaced, which were later debunked by his family and the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

Jacobs, who has been battling dementia, is a multiple award-winning actor and film executive. He has starred in several British television shows and Nigerian films, earning him a reputation as one of the greatest and most widely respected African actors of his generation.
