The Nigerian musician Joseph Akinwale, better known by his stage name Joeboy, has updated his social media profiles in several ways, but this one is indescribable.

The musician, who had 2.9 million followers on Instagram, recently deleted every post from the platform. The singer, who is 26 years old, also posted a mysterious message on his X page.

“Eye wey don see 99 no fit fear 100,” he wrote in pidgin English.

Joeboy, however, did not provide context to the tweet that has been viewed over 57,000 times. Black is well known for conjuring up images of mystery, strength, refinement, and elegance. Someone using a black profile photo on social media may be trying to communicate these kinds of feelings.
