A Nigerian singer, Jazmine Sawacha, has announced her intentions and readiness to embark on a 130-hour sing-a-thon to break the yet-to-be-certified record of Afua Asantewaa Aduonum.

After being given the go-ahead by the Guinness World Record, Jazmine is scheduled to begin a 130-hour singing marathon in March 2024 in Lagos, Nigeria.

This follows the much-discussed sing-a-thon by Afua Asantewaa, during which she broke the previous unofficial record held by an Indian by singing continuously for 126 hours and 52 minutes during the Christmas season.
