A local church founder named Oluwaseun Akinnubi has become embroiled in a controversy of unparalleled proportions, rocking the tranquil enclave of Ore in the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The charges at the heart of this dispute are far from standard fare: not only is Mr. Akinnubi said to have fathered a kid with his landlord’ s wife, but he is also suspected of using hypnotic methods to do it.

Self- proclaimed pastor Oluwaseun Akinnubi had been living with his landlord Tubosun in the latter’ s home, reportedly for lack of a better place to stay. Tubosun had no idea that his seemingly altruistic act would lead to a chain of very disturbing occurrences.

After Tubosun and his wife, Mama Precious, lived together for a while, rumors spread that Mama Precious, a mother of four, had become pregnant by Pastor Oluwaseun using his hypnotic skills. Tubosun’ s brother, concerned for his sibling’ s safety, made a formal complaint to the Ondo State Police Command in Ore, which led to the unexpected revelation.

Sources close to the situation say that Mama Precious was able to give delivery.

Even more disturbing is the claim that Pastor Oluwaseun performed the christening ceremony himself. The family of Tunbosun seemed certain that their relative was blinded by supernatural forces and unaware of the pastor’ s misbehavior. In a visit to the police station, Tubosun’ s older brother, Mr. Moses Akinnuoye, confirmed the disturbing incident and voiced his skepticism that Pastor Oluwaseun had claimed the baby and the pregnancy.

He related how, after hearing complaints from certain residents that unknown people were hanging around the house after they had left for work, he decided to call the police and report a burglary that had occurred in four separate rooms.
