Ghanaian political analyst Ivan Kyei Innocent has slammed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) selection of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as the running mate for Bawumia’s 2024 election.

In a scathing Facebook post, Innocent described NAPO as an “arrogant leader” and Bawumia as a “liar.”

Innocent’s comments have sparked a heated debate among political enthusiasts and fans, with some supporting his views and others defending the NPP’s choice. The analyst’s vocal criticism of the NPP’s decision has highlighted the intense scrutiny and opposition that the party’s leadership faces.

Innocent’s remarks have added fuel to the already intense political landscape in Ghana, with many calling for leadership that prioritizes the country’s well-being over personal interests. The controversy surrounding NAPO’s selection as running mate has raised questions about the NPP’s judgment and ability to lead the country effectively.
