Member of Parliament for Old Tafo contributes GHS150,000 to Tafo Government Hospital

The Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Vincent Ekow Assafuah, has made a generous donation of GHS150,000 to the Tafo Government Hospital.

He announced the donation through a Facebook post on Saturday, May 31, 2025. According to the MP, the money is meant to support the hospital in delivering better healthcare to the people of the Old Tafo Constituency.

Hon. Assafuah described the donation as a sign of his deep commitment to improving healthcare services in his area. He explained that hospitals are very important to every community because they help save lives and improve the wellbeing of citizens.

“Yesterday, I had the honour of making a special donation of GHS150,000 to the Tafo Government Hospital. This gesture is a reflection of my unwavering commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the Old Tafo Constituency,” the MP wrote on Facebook.

He added, “Our hospitals are the lifeline of our communities, and investing in them means investing in the health and future of our people.”

The donation has been welcomed by health workers and residents of Old Tafo. Some hospital staff have thanked the MP for his continuous support and called on other leaders to follow his example.

Many people in the constituency believe this donation will help the hospital buy important medical equipment and improve the quality of care for patients.

Hon. Vincent Assafuah has served as the MP for Old Tafo since January 2021. He is also a strong advocate for education, youth development, and good healthcare.

The donation to the Tafo Government Hospital is expected to make a big difference in healthcare delivery in the area, especially for those who depend on the facility for their medical needs.
