LilWin’s arrest was good, No one is above the law – Akrobeto speaks for the first time about LilWin’s accident, which killed a three-year-old boy

Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadi, also known as Akrobeto, has spoken out about the sad tragedy involving his colleague LilWin, which resulted in the tragic death of a 3-year-old boy named Tawiah Ampomah.

Akrobeto stated that LilWin’s involvement in the accident and subsequent activities have harmed his public image and reputation in society.

He complimented the Ghana Police Service for arresting LilWin for questioning, emphasising that the law applies equally to all people, regardless of their status.

During an interview on UTV, Akrobeto advised fellow celebrities to set a good example for their audience.

He emphasised the significance of obeying the law and making sound judgements, as no one is above the law in Ghana.

Akrobeto cited the example of Pastor Owusu Bempah, who was likewise detained by police and then apologised.

He emphasised the importance of public individuals leading inspirational lives and avoiding situations like this.

LilWin was apprehended by authorities on June 3, 2024, after receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

He has been granted bail, and the case has been delayed until June 27, 2024. The accident happened on May 25, 2024, outside Grace Baptist Church in Amakom, Kumasi, when LilWin’s vehicle collided with another car, causing injuries and the terrible loss of a kid.

Despite his injuries, LilWin shown tenacity by attending the premiere of his new film later that day.

LilWin’s management team has expressed their support for the bereaved family during this difficult period.
