Asamoah Gyan, a former captain of the Ghanaian national team and current professional football player from Ghana, has said that we should pray for the team to perform well as they compete in the FIFA World Cup. He most recently played as a striker for Legon Cities FC.

He claimed that everyone had voiced their opinions over the Black Stars.

The 26-man squad is now out, so what we need to do is support the players who are already in camp, he wrote in a tweet.

“…if you have any comments, hold off until after the tournament’s opening match. But let’s pray for the team to perform right now, he said.
