Kwesi Arthur leaves music record label ‘Ground up’ and launches new label ‘SiSi’

Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur made headlines by revealing that he has been married for several months.

This surprising disclosure came as he expressed his preference for keeping his personal life private from the public eye.

“I’m a husband now. Yeah… For some couple of months now. I would like to keep that private. People don’t like good things and that is for me to enjoy, so I love keeping it that private,” Kwesi Arthur shared during the interview.

Aside from discussing his marriage, the ‘Grind Day‘ rapper also shared updates about his career.

Having spent time in the United States of America (USA), he announced that he is no longer under contract with his previous record label, Ground Up.

However, he reassured fans that he has not left the music scene.

Kwesi Arthur went on to reveal that he has established his own record label called ‘SiSi,’ a name with personal significance as it means ‘Yes, Yes’ and also pays homage to his grandmother. He explained that he intends to sign other artists in the future while focusing on his own music for now.

“I just want to honor her memory. I’m looking to sign other artists in the future. For now, I am projecting mine but I am still supporting others,” Kwesi Arthur elaborated, shedding light on his plans for the music industry moving forward.
