Current VGMA artiste of the year and Highlifer Dwamena alias KiDi is out to get NDC boys who he accuses for being behind his old tweets that went viral.
The ‘Touch it’ hitmaker alleged that the release of his old tweets before he came to the limelight that caused him public criticism was a deliberate political attempt to sabotage him.
The singer opined in an interview with Angel FM’s DJ Ohemaa Woyeje on the show ‘Yadwumanie’ that he had no clue where the archived tweets were coming from until he investigated and found out that the source was a National Democratic Congress (NDC) account.
“These NDC boys on Twitter just went back and started searching for people who have said something about Mahama in order to give them pressure to say something about Nana Akufo-Addo as well because when Mahama came you spoke about him but with Akufo-Addo you are silent.” He expressed.
“everyone was saying KiDi too has said some silly things previously so let’s go dig them out.” He added.
KiDi stated that the possible aim of the source was to get him to speak against the current government the same way he spoke against the ex-President John Mahama.
He also added that the resurrection of those tweets has cost him a lot and he wishes no one will have to go through something similar, emphasizing on how most people have rehashed those old tweets to make it seem recent.
He once again apologies for what he did with a promise of showing the better person he is becoming.
“Honestly, I hope people forgive me …this is something I said ten years ago…I’m not even the same person I was a year ago…I’ve grown, I’ve learnt to be different, to be kind, to show basic human courtesy.
“Even though you did it ten years ago, it is still wrong. people are affected”, he said while apologizing to all the victims.
