Kendrick Lamar Releases ‘Right Spirit’ Song.

The “Rich Spirit” music video by Kendrick Lamar has just been released, following his eight Grammy nominations.

The Compton rapper begins the Calmatic-directed clip by praying next to his midcentury crib before rapping and dancing about it while wearing a pair of handcrafted cowboy boots.

The creator of pgLang performs in front of a mirror while eating cereal at the kitchen island. He dances in his living room wearing a sparkly white suit and white boots in the film’s last scene before being abruptly cut off by a phone call.

On the Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers hit, he raps, “Stop playin’ with me ‘fore I turn you to a song / Ayy, bitch, I’m attractive / Can’t f**k with you no more, I’m fastin’.”

The most recent song on the album to have a video is “Rich Spirit,” which follows “N95” and his short film for “We Cry Together.”

With eight nominations, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for “The Heart Part 5,” which also garnered a nomination for Best Music Video, Kendrick became the artist with the most nominations for a man at the 65th annual Grammy Awards on Tuesday.

His “Big Steppers Tour” ends tonight in Europe before continuing on to Australia and New Zealand.
