Rapper Kwesi Arthur from Ghana has stated his wish to collaborate with Kojo Antwi, a Highlife icon who greatly inspires him.
The rapper claims to have grown up listening to “Mr. Music Man.”
A Kojo Antwi CD was owned by my aunt. When I went to get it from her room, I kept playing the song.
The “Grind Day” hitmaker claimed that Kojo Antwi’s compositions, instrumentals, and melodies are what drew him to the song.
His lyrics, instrumentals, melodies, and compositions all have a heartfelt quality to them.
Kojo Antwi has control over his music, and Kwesi Arthur said he admires something about him.
The celebration hitmaker also revealed that although his uncle used to play hip-hop music, he wasn’t particularly into it because he preferred African music in an interview with Kafui Dey on GTV’s Breakfast Show.
“I typically liked African music. VIP, P Square, 2 Face, and TIC Tac, you know.
Kwesi Arthur continued by describing his experience as a Tema resident and stating that Tema is a vibrant and wonderful place to live.
