Ghanaian comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB) has said in a video making rounds on Instagram that he is stepping down from his role as the head of Funny Face’s fundraising.

The comedian had initially teamed up with Funny Face to raise funds on his behalf on social media immediately after his gory accident and subsequent trial in court.

DKB claimed that Funny Face himself had asked him to lead the campaign but his manager, on the other hand, disagreed, believing he was involved for other reasons.

DKB went on to say that after he revealed Funny Face’s mobile money details and asked the public to make a cash contribution, Peace FM contacted him to ask for further details about the comedian’s predicament.

The manager of Funny Face, however, attacked DKB, alleging that he had hidden agendas because Funny Face had not officially endorsed any fundraising initiative.

DKB further revealed that Funny Face said he wanted to adopt the kids as an act of contrition for his careless driving, which put their lives in danger.
