I saw my father after I was 19 years old – King Paluta

Ghanaian artiste, King Paluta, recently shared in an interview with Delay that he was raised by a single mother. The popular ‘YaHitte’ hitmaker revealed that he did not see his father often and only met him for the first time when he was around 19 years old.

He explained that his parents were not married before he was born and his father was not present in their lives for a long time.

Paluta mentioned that his father’s whereabouts were unknown to them as he was in Ghana but was not in contact with the family.

It was only when he was a young adult that his father came back into the picture. His mother even discussed marriage with his father, who was the only man she had been with.

Despite his father’s absence, Paluta shared that his mother did not enter into a relationship with any other man. He expressed gratitude for his mother’s strength and dedication in raising him on her own.

The artiste revealed that his parents eventually reconciled and rekindled their relationship before his father passed away in 2022.

Despite the challenges he faced growing up, Paluta expressed love and appreciation for both of his parents and the impact they had on his life.
