I lost my marriage due to my son – Vincent Bossu’s mother burst into tears after his release

Madam Juliet, the mother of Vincent Bossu, the 2nd Accused person who was acquitted and discharged, expressed that her marriage fell apart because of her son’s legal troubles.

She tearfully shared her belief in her son’s innocence after the High Court in Accra cleared him of conspiracy to rob. Speaking to EIB Network Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah, she thanked God for her prayers being answered.

The State Prosecutors, led by Mrs. Sefakor Batse, closed their case after presenting eight witnesses, with ASP Augustus Nkrumah as the final witness.

The High Court found prima facie evidence against Daniel Asiedu alias Sexy Don Don for the murder of Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu and robbery, ordering him to open his defense.

Asiedu pleaded not guilty and remains in custody.

The court also ruled that there was no prima facie case against Agongo. Both Agongo and Asiedu have been in remand for eight years.

Murtala Inusah reported that Bossu was overwhelmed with emotion and broke down in tears after his acquittal.

Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu, the late Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, was murdered on February 8, 2016.

Justice Marfo instructed Sexy Don Don to submit a witness statement by April 15. ASP Augustus Nkrumah, the 8th Prosecution Witness, was discharged after cross-examination by defense lawyers led by Yaw Danquah.
