The people in charge of United Television (UTV) have come under fire from Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder of the International God’s Way church, for putting out false information about him.

He claimed that he would have taken legal action against the media organization for damaging his reputation if it were not for the fact that Dr. Ofori Sarpong, a relative of his, is close to Osei Kwame, the owner of UTV.

He said that UTV had once run news about him based on a video that had been sent to them by an unidentified source, but they had declined to get in touch with him about the matter before airing it.

The popular and controversial pastor said,

“I know UTV published fake news about me. I would have dealt with UTV brutally if it were not for the fact that my brother, Dr. Ofori Sarpong, is a family member who comes before my mother. I am aware that he and Kwame are friends, which is why.

“How come you can post things I have not said online because of a video you made without first getting in touch with me to ask permission? “They could have even called Ofori Sarpong to confirm since they know he is my brother. But they didn’t.”

Bishop Daniel Obinim did not point out in his claims the specific untrue news that UTV published about him that damaged his reputation.

In recent times, Obinim has taken on individuals and some media outlets that he believes publish untrue stories about him to disparage his appearance.
