Well-known musician Albert Apoozore, better known by his stage name King Ayisoba, has disclosed that he does farming and animal husbandry in addition to being a musician.

The multiple award-winning traditional singer claims to have a farm in Bolgatanga, in Ghana’s Upper East, where he grows a variety of crops, including groundnut and millet, which he sells for profit.

The “I Want to See You, My Father” hitmaker went on to say that in addition to raising goats, cows, guinea pigs, and cocks, he also rears cocks, which helps him make ends meet. He said,

“Sometimes I’m a farmer. I farm in Bolga if I do not go on a music tour. I cultivate groundnuts and millet. Even the northern soils are insufficient for growing marijuana, which is why I do not cultivate it.

It is not good in general, but it does support certain places. I also raise goats, cows, guinea hens, and cocks because I enjoy animals. Although I am not wealthy or poor, I have been getting by.”

This disclosure was revealed by Ayisoba in a special interview with Blakk Rasta on 3FM’s Urban Blend.
