Reality television personality Phyna has shared her reservations about dating single fathers, citing concerns over potential “baby mama drama.”

In a recent episode of her podcast, “Spill With Phyna,” the Big Brother Naija star expressed a reluctance to enter into relationships with men who have children, emphasizing the complexities she observed, particularly when the child’s mother remains actively involved in the man’s life.

Phyna stated that she would consider dating a single father only if the child’s mother is remarried to someone else.

She highlighted instances where she witnessed drama and stress caused by baby mamas, explaining that she had seen situations where these mothers resist the idea of the man moving on.

During the podcast conversation with fellow reality star Tacha, Phyna recounted a specific case involving a celebrity content creator who faced challenges while trying to move on with his life due to the involvement of his child’s mother.

She emphasised her reluctance to deal with such situations, asserting, “I personally can’t deal with a man that has a child already, except if the baby mama has remarried. But if the baby mama is still in the picture, I can’t.”
