A young woman has stirred intense reactions online after recounting her humiliating experience of being publicly rejected by a Nigerian man in South Africa.
In an emotional account that has since gone viral, the lady revealed how what she thought was a blossoming connection suddenly turned into a moment of public embarrassment she says she will never forget.
According to her, she and the man — also a Nigerian living abroad — had been communicating and spending time together. She believed they shared mutual feelings and were gradually building something meaningful.
However, things took a shocking turn during an outing with his friends.
“We were outside, and when someone asked if I was his girlfriend, he immediately said no,” she recounted. “The way he said it — so quickly and confidently — broke me.”
