Ghanaian Presidents who met Queen Elizabeth II before her death. Akufo Addo, missing.

Queen Elizabeth II is the Queen of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms. Elizabeth was born in Mayfair, London, as the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York. Her father acceded to the throne in 1936 upon the abdication of his brother, King Edward VIII, making Elizabeth the heir presumptive. She was born April 21, 1926, Bruton Street, London, United Kingdom and died 8th September,2022.

Queen Elizabeth II in her years of reign was the first warrior to implement democracy in the United Kingdom. Her hardwork and perceives had positive influence in the Commonwealth realms.

Such heartwarming ,she met most honoured President’s and politicians of our State. Initially was the first president of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

In The year was 1961, and Queen Elizabeth was establishing a reputation for herself as a real jet setter.

She visited several countries around the world, but perhaps what was most notable was her very first trip to Ghana, a country in West Africa. The young Queen showed during this trip that while the Royal’s family’s powers were limited the monarchy could still have an impact. Thus, Dr Kwame Nkrumah was well on his way to becoming a dictator. Nevertheless there was tension in Accra where bombs were desertted to Ghana and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s statue broken. There she knew Nkrumah was targeted. Through several connives ,met Dr.Kwame Nkrumah out of a blue.

Secondly was John Agyekum Kuffour. In 2018 , Queen Elizabeth hosted a State Banquet for visiting President of Ghana, John Agyekum and his wife, Mrs Theresa at Buckingham Palace

Late Professor Evans Atta Mills was next in the list;

The Queen of England, Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II welcomed Late President John Atta Mills, to the United Kingdom.

A representative of the Queen, Lord Brett, welcomed the President at the Royal Garden Hotel.Lord Brett, on behalf of the Queen, congratulated President Atta Mills for assuming the high office of President of the Republic of Ghana and commended Ghana for flying high the flag of democracy in Africa.

According to Lord Brett, Her Majesty the Queen was proud that Ghana, a key member of the Commonwealth, was leading the way in broadening the frontiers of democracy and wished the President a fruitful stay in London.

Lord Brett also commended President Atta Mills for his commitment to fighting corruption and the drug menace.

On his part, Late President Atta Mills thanked the Queen for her welcome message and pledged to continue to lead Ghana on the path that will give Ghana more glory as far as championing democracy is concerned.

Jerry John Rawlings also had a negotiation with Queen.

Lastly was John Dramani Mahama;

Former Ghana’s president-John Dramani Mahama and his wife-Lordina went on an official visit to the United Kingdom—and as part of their trip, they visited the Buckingham Palace for a private meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Former President Mahama and the Queen discussed a number of issues of common interest to the two countries”. At the meeting, the Queen is reported to have expressed “interested in the First Lady’s health-related activities and humanitarian support”.
