EXPOSED: Inside the Shocking Scheme of the Alleged Russian Luring Ghanaian Women!

An explosive online scandal has gripped Ghana’s social media — and the nation is demanding answers. A man who claims to be Russian, known online as Yaytseslav, is at the centre of a massive controversy after videos emerged showing him approaching Ghanaian women in public and filming intimate encounters that have since gone viral online — sparking outrage over privacy, consent and possible exploitation.

How It Allegedly Worked

According to reports, the man was seen frequenting hotspots like Accra Mall, approaching women casually and recording interactions on camera. He then allegedly convinced some to give him their phone numbers — and in a number of widely shared clips, women were shown later visiting his apartment with him, unaware the footage would be shared online.

At least dozens of videos — around 40 — are circulating online, some shared publicly on TikTok and YouTube, others locked behind a paid Telegram channel charging subscribers for access to more explicit content. Critics are calling it a privatisation of intimate encounters and a form of digital exploitation.

Outrage Explodes Across Ghana

Social media has erupted in anger and disbelief. Citizens have blasted what they say is a brazen invasion of privacy, demanding that authorities investigate whether the women knew they were being recorded and whether the footage was shared with their consent — or worse, monetised for profit without permission.

One Ghanaian lawmaker has even called for immediate investigations and arrests, urging state security agencies, the Cyber Security Authority and police to act swiftly — warning the alleged actions could constitute serious criminal conduct if proven.

Questions Swirl Around Motive and Method

While much of the focus has been on the videos themselves, critics say this isn’t just about clips going viral — it’s about power, exploitation, and modern digital predation. Questions remain:

  • Was the filming consensual, or did this man take advantage of young women’s trust?
  • Was the content monetised — and if so, was that legal?
  • Will Ghana’s cybercrime laws apply to a foreign national operating on social platforms?

The Final Word?

As this scandal continues to unfold, one thing is clear: social media is demanding answers, accountability, and swift action. Ghana’s public has made it obvious — this is not just a trend. It’s a potential crime wave cutting across privacy, consent, and digital ethics.

People are watching. Authorities are being called to act. And Ghana wants justice — fast.
