Ernest Opoku, a gospel singer from Ghana, has talked about how his most famous song, “Onyame A Otease,” was inspired by God and how it also raised a young man from the dead.
Ernest stated in a recent interview with Hello FM’s entertainment review show that the song had been given to him by God himself. He said that the song struck him as he was attending a seminar when a mother came to tell him that her son had died.
He referenced that he doesn’t completely accept that any of the tunes he has delivered come near the previously mentioned one.
Ernest claimed that he told the mother to have faith and trust in God because the son would rise from the dead after she told him this.
To everyone’s surprise, he suddenly began singing the hymn “Onyame A Otease” as he continued to sing and praise the Lord. The youngster promptly began hacking and reawakened.
Ernest Opoku went on to say that because the song came to him unconsciously, he could only go to the studio to record it and polish it after someone who recorded him at the program gave him the recording.
He said, “God gave me this song, and the creator made sure it went all over the world.” Today, the song is his biggest hit.
Ernest Opoku’s father Ernest Opoku is a Ghanaian gospel musician and performer who goes by the name Ernest. At the 2017 National Gospel Music Awards, he took home the title of Best Male Vocalist.
